Our No-Fix-No-Fee Policy
The No-Fix-No-Fee policy means that if the PCServices representative does not possess the necessary technical knowledge or ability to resolve the problem or effect the repair, then no charge is made.
Exceptions
- The No-Fix-No-Fee policy does not apply to work related to computer virus or spyware problems or to cases in which the computer has been struck by lightning or you have attempted a hardware repair yourself.
- If the PCServices representative is able to resolve the problem or effect the repair, but is prevented from doing so by the client’s request not to proceed with the work, then the work up to that point is chargeable & the visit ends.
- If the PCServices representative provides a clear and precise diagnosis of a failed component, but the client decides not to proceed with the replacement of the component, then a charge is payable up to that point.
- If the PCServices representative is able to resolve the problem or effect the repair, but is prevented from doing so because the client cannot produce the required Software, Product Key, Serial Number, Password(s) or other required Security Information, then then a charge is payable up to that point.
